Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications, in cooperation with the institution of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, opened electronic hotline for reporting illegal online content which could jeopardize children’s rights.

Montenegrin citizens, primarily parents and children, are welcome to report any Internet content or material which represents child abuse, either in physical or psychological terms, as well as content which jeopardizes health or integrity of children, molestation, unacceptable behavior or any other mode of putting the children’s rights in danger. Report form can be found on the webpage of Montenegrin CIRT – Computer Incident Response Team (www.cirt.me).

The form also leads to “Brave locker”, an option for parents and children to directly address Montenegrin Ombudsman - Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro. Therefore, along with the possibility to report illegal online material, parents and children are also welcome to report any form of online abuse or child molestation to Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms.
