Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications is the winner of this year's international award Diskobolos for the project "Portal for persons with disabilities".
Diskobolos is an international award granted for achievements in the field of information and communication technologies, popularly called the "Oscar for Informatics". The award is presented in several categories, and the Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications was awarded in the category of WEB achievements, for the project "Portal for persons with disabilities".
Diskobolos is presented under the auspices of the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies and the European Chamber of Commerce in Brussels, and this year also a large number of achievements from the USA, India, Great Britain, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria and the countries of our region applied for the award.
We would like to remind that the Ministry received this award also last year for projects in the field of information society promotion.
The award was presented at the ceremony held last night in Belgrade. Radule Novović, Deputy Minister for Information Society Promotion, received the award on behalf of the Ministry.
